Bosnia and Herzegovina will be without Dzanan Musa for its upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Turkey and Serbia after medical tests confirmed a cartilage injury in his right knee.
Head coach Dario Gjergja revealed that the injury requires approximately one month of recovery, although surgery will not be necessary.
“It is a serious injury. The cartilage in his right knee requires a month of recovery. The good news is that he should be ready for August, when the second round of the World Cup Qualifiers begins,” Gjergja said.
Bosnia and Herzegovina hosts Turkey on July 2 in Zenica before visiting Serbia on July 6. Musa is expected to rejoin the national team for the August qualifying window.
