Branco Badio was the top scorer with 24 points, as Senegal took a key victory for the 2027 World Cup Qualifiers, prevailing against Angola (84-82).
In the capital of Senegal, Dakar, the winners relied as usual on Panathinaikos newcomer Badio, who had a night to remember.
The 27-year-old Panathinaikos guard hit the winning three-pointer with 41″ to go and finished the game with 24 points (6/8 two-pointers, 3/6 three-pointers, 3/6 free throws), seven assists, four turnovers, one steal and one block.

Olympiacos forward Mbaye Ndiaye added 11 points and seven rebounds.
Thanks to this result, Senegal and Mali are tied in the second spot at a 6-2 record, while Côte d’Ivoire is on top with a 7-1 record. The two top teams of the group are qualified for the FIBA World Cup.
