Lauri Markkanen posted a double-double as Finland defeated Estonia 96-67 on the road in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers.
Markkanen finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in just over 25 minutes. He shot 3-of-5 from three-point range and did not commit a turnover, recording an efficiency rating of 26.
Estonia led by eight points late in the second quarter, but Finland responded to take a 38-35 halftime advantage. The visitors then outscored the hosts 28-11 in the third period, turning a close contest into a comfortable victory.

Olivier Nkamhoua contributed 18 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals, while Edon Maxhuni added 18 points, including four three-pointers. Miro Little scored 15.
Kristian Kullamae led Estonia with 15 points and five assists. The hosts dropped to 3-5 in Group L, while Finland improved to 5-3.
