Panathinaikos’ Dinos Mitoglou will be the only EuroLeague player to join the Greek national team in the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers games taking place during November’s Window.

The Greens’ forward was the only player out of Panathinaikos or Olympiacos present in today’s practice, the national team’s first ahead of the matches.

Greece head coach Thanasis Skourtopoulos had included four of Mitoglou’s teammates (Nick Calathes, Ian Vougioukas Thanassis Antetokounmpo, Zach Auguste) in Panathinaikos, plus Olympiacos’ Giorgos Printezis, Kostas Papanikolaou, Vangelis Manzaris and Ioannis Papapetrou on the roster but only the 21-year-old player will be present in the games vs Great Britain (24/11) and Israel (27/11).

In total, there were nine EuroLeague players in the preliminary squad, including also Fenerbahce’s Kostas Sloukas.
