Lokomotiv’s Khvostov out six months

Lokomotiv Kuban guard Dmitry Khvostov underwent surgery on his left knee ACL in Friday (5/4) in Italy, the club announced. The Russian player will be out for six months and will thus miss the remainder of the season plus the World Cup.

Khostov suffered the injury two minutes into Monday’s VTB League game between his team and Khimki Moscow.

In the 2018-2019 EuroCup, Khvostov averaged 5.9 points, 3.3 assists and 2.2 rebounds over 22:28 minutes. The 29-year-old player had 5.8 points, 4.0 assists, and 1.8 rebounds in 21:30 minutes in VTB League.
