Germany beats Sweden in prep game ahead of World Cup

Germany downed Sweden 78-46 in their friendly game ahead of FIBA World Cup 2019 in the city of Trier.

Germany’s defense played a key role in this victory, as it only allowed Sweden to score seven points in the opening period as the deficit kept rising for the rest of the game.

Paul Zipser led the winners with 14 points, six rebounds and a block, Maxi Kleber followed with nine points and five rebounds, while Danilo Barthel added seven points and six rebounds.
