Ricky Rubio led Spain to a dominant win in a prep game against the Dominican Republic

Spain kicked off the game against the Dominican Republic with a big run and kept going as they recorded a convincing 102-70 win.

Ricky Rubio led the way with 20 points – 14 in the first half – and six assists in the 20 minutes he spent on the floor while Willy Hernangomez added 13 and Marc Gasol 12 points. Juancho Hernangomez logged 11 points and seven boards.

Ronald Roberts Jr. scored 11 points (all in the first half) for the Dominican Republic while Eloy Vargas helped with 11 as well. Eulis Baez added ten points.

Spain started the match with a 12-0 run and was ahead 51-35 at halftime. They kept going after break increasing the lead to 82-50 in front of the final ten minutes and securing the win.
