Philippines announce the World Cup lineup

After the two prep games against Adelaide 36ers (one win, one loss), coach Yeng Guiao decided on the final roster for the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China.

The squad will be led by Andray Blatche and June Mar Fajardo while there are also a few young players making the cut in CJ Perez, Robert Bolick, and Kiefer Ravena. It has to be noted that Cavs’ Jordan Clarkson is not cleared to play in FIBA competitions with the Philippines, despite his presence in the 2018 Asian Games.

Here is the list of 12 players that made the Philippines World Cup roster: Japeth Aguilar, Raymond Almazan, Mark Barroca, Andray Blatche, Robert Bolick, June Mar Fajardo, Paul Lee, Gabe Norwood, CJ Perez, RR Pogoy, Kiefer Ravena, Troy Rosario.
