There have been conflicting reports and information about the presence of Sacramento’s Corey Joseph in the roster of the Canadian national team for the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
According to coach Nick Nurse, however, Joseph once more reassured him that he will travel to China. “As far as I know, he is… he said he was getting on the plane tomorrow”, said Nurse in the press conference after the game between Canada and USA in Sidney, Australia.
Having said that, it’s more than strange that Joseph will be added on the roster in the 11th hour after missing the training camp.
