An injury forces Berk Ugurlu out of the 2019 FIBA World Cup, the Turkish Basketball Federation announced on Wednesday.
Doguş Balbay, Sertac Şanli, Cedi Osman, Furkan Korkmaz, Semih Erden, Metecan Birsen, Yigit Arslan, Melih Mahmutoglu, Scottie Wilbekin, Bugrahan Tuncer, Berkan Durmaz, Ege Arar and Ersan İlyasova are the 13 players still available.
Only 12 will make the final cut for Ufuk Sarica’s 12-man World Cup squad. They will represent Turkey at China starting off at Shanghai against Group E rivals Japan, USA and the Czech Republic.
