Following Germany’s exhibition game against Australia on Wednesday, coach Henrik Rodl decided on the 12-man squad to represent the nation at FIBA World Cup.
Rodl cut Isaac Bonga from the roster, leaving 12 players on it:
Maodo Lo, Niels Giffey, Johannes Voigtmann, Ismet Akpinar, Daniel Theis, Robin Benzing, Dennis Schröder, Paul Zipser, Danilo Barthel, Maximilian Kleber, Johannes Thiemann, and Andreas Obst.
Germany plays against the Dominican Republic, France, and Jordan in Group G of the tournament’s first round.
