World Cup Day 2 Recap: France and Germany steal the show

Australia and Canada kicked off the second day of FIBA World Cup and although the latter made a big comeback in the third quarter, Matthew Dellavedova and the ‘Boomers’ woke up and dominated the fourth for the win.

Brazil, Turkey, Lithuania, Greece and the USA (despite a slow start) didn’t have any trouble sealing their first wins of the tournament while the Dominican Republic barely survived Ahmad Al Dwairi (Ahmet Duverioglu) who scored 34 points for Jordan.

Last but not least, Evan Fournier (26 pts), Amath M’Baye (21 pts) and France came out on top in an exciting duel against Johannes Voigtmann (25 pts), Dennis Schroder (23 pts) and Germany.
