World Cup Day 6 Recap: First Round completed

With Day 6 of the FIBA World Cup, the First Round has been completed as 16 teams advanced while the rest will play the Classification Round.

Greece won vs. New Zealand and the Czech Republic vs. Turkey as they grabbed the last two spots in the Second Round joining the following squads: Argentina, Poland, Venezuela, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Italy, Puerto Rico, USA, Brazil, France, Australia, Dominican Republic, and Lithuania.

With New Zealand out and Australia advancing, the latter automatically secured a ticket to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo as the top placed Oceania team.
