Ioannis Papapetrou and Panathinaikos Athens took out their frustration of a EuroLeague home loss to Unics Kazan on AEK Athens.

After going 2-11 on 3-pointers vs. Unics, Papapetrou scored 20 with 4-5 triples as Panathinaikos destroyed AEK 100 – 75 at home. The Greens improved their Greek League record to 5 – 1 while their opponents dropped to 3-4.

Panathinaikos was the absolute boss of the game after the first minutes and an early 4-12 lead by AEK. Dimitris Prifits’ players went up by double figures halfway through the second period and never looked back going as far as leading by 30 in the final minutes.

Eric Griffin had 18 points plus eight rebounds while former Panathinaikos player Nikos Pappas scored 14 for AEK. The visiting side lost Braian Angola to injury in the third period.
