Panathinaikos’ head coach Aleksandar Djordjevic was satisfied by his team in the road win over Aris and he praised Greek legend Nick Galis who was present in the game.

As Djordjevic said about him returning to a gym that he visited many times as a player: “It’s the most difficult part. There are moments when you understand and realise, when your career is over, why you don’t measure the emotions when you play. I remember many things from this court. The matches between Partizan and Aris. I was watching Nick Galis, he was a role model for all players of our generation. When I start playing, I also faced Panagiotis Giannakis. I remember there was a great atmosphere in this court and I can see that it still exists. I was fighting against Galis. Some times I won, some times I lost. By the way, I want to congratulate Aris’ fans. It’s unusual for Panathinaikos to have won here and be applauded by the fans.”
