Paris Lee scored a game-high 22 points including the winning layup with 0.5 remaining as Panathinaikos Athens survived bottom-placed Lavrio 86 – 84 on the road in a Greek League game.

After a very close battle, Panathinaikos had taken an 84 – 79 lead with 1:03 to play thanks to consecutive triples by Dwayne Bacon, Lavrio fought back and tied the score at 84 after two free throws by Remy Martin. There were seven seconds on the clock and Lee took it on him to drive to the basket and hit a tough bucket that ultimately gave victory to the Greens.

RJ Cole (21 points), Savion Flagg (20 points) and Cyril Langevine (17 points, eight rebounds) led the charge for Lavrio.

Bacon finished with 18 points on 6-10, all of them 3-pointers. George Papagiannis had 14 points plus six rebounds and Mateusz Ponitka scored 11 for a Panathinaikos team that was minus guard Nate Wolters (muscle spasm) and wing Marius Grigonis (not registered in Greek League).
