Cooper leaving on Monday for Monaco

No announcement is made yet, however it’s a given that D.J.Cooper is leaving AEK Athens – where he signed after leaving Russia and Red October – and after this weekend’s Greek league game against Lavrio he will sign with Monaco, current leader of the the French ProA.

The American guard has a contract also for next season with AEK, however the two sides reached a deal for his release and J’Covan Marquis Brown from Turk Telekom will be the player who will take his place in the roster. The team also decided to keep Dionte Christmas until the end of the season – the deal included a 20 days trial – however still needs one more point guard, so expect more moves to be made in Athens…
