Jordan Walker poured in 36 points, leading Promitheas Vikos Cola to a win, 80-76, versus Karditsa Iaponiki in Patras on Saturday.
A few weeks after setting his career-high at 54 points, he went for 25 points in the first half behind six triples, before settling at 8/16 field goals, including 7/12 three-pointers. Lasting nearly 36 minutes, he added five assists, two steals, and one rebound to his latest brilliant scoring showing.
“I’m always feeling confidence,” the 25-year-old point guard mentioned in a postgame interview with Greek public television, ERT.
Containing Walker for large stretches of the second half, the visitors nearly erased an 18-point deficit, but the team coached by Ilias Papatheodorou held on and earned a 1-0 lead in a best-of-three series of the Quarterfinals of the 2025 Stoiximan GBL Playoffs.
Promitheas center Jarvis Varnado exited in the first quarter due to injury.
Earlier in Sunel Arena, AEK Betsson opened a 1-0 lead with an 89-76 victory over PAOK mateco.
