Yurtseven pushes Panathinaikos to Greek League semifinals

Omer Yurtseven posted 21 points and 11 rebounds as Panathinaikos Athens defeated Peristeri 97 – 82 to make the 2-0 in the Greek League quarterfinals against the two teams and sweep the series.

Five more Panathinaikos players scored in double figures. Cedi Osman had 16 points while newly crowned 2025 EuroLeague scoring king Kendrick Nunn provided 14 points, six rebounds and five assists. Their team was without captain Kostas Sloukas due to stomach problems he felt during warmup.

Vangelis Zougris (15 points, seven rebounds) and Jarell Eddie (15 points) stood out from Peristeri.

Panathinaikos is now focusing on the EuroLeague playoffs against Anadolu Efes that tips off Tuesday (22/4).
