After finishing Euroleague duties with a defeat, Olympiacos wanted to bounce back.
And the Piraeus team quickly put behind the European loss to Armani and cruised past Promitheas in Patras (64–88) with 31 assists, keeping their undefeated streak in the Stoiximan GBL with seven wins in a row.
The top scorer for the winners, who once again were without Frank Ntilikina, was Sasha Vezenkov with 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. Tyler Dorsey added another 12 points with 4/7 from three. Lee had a very good game with 15 points (6/6 two-pointers), 7 assists, and 1 rebound, while Peters contributed 14 points.
As for the losing side, who were missing their “hot” scorer Rob Gray, Coleman had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Despite an Olympiacos’ early 2–11 start, Patras responded with a run of their own to close the gap. But then, Tyler Dorsey took over, starting off with a buzzer-beater.
With strong defense and fast-break points, the “Reds built a 20-point lead before halftime. From there, the second half was more of a formality, as the game was basically over.
Later, Panathinaikos also won its game against Aris.
As the final score reflects, the home team was very hard and included a comeback: Ataman’s team was behind 53-41 starting the second half.
