Panathinaikos Aktor welcomed Panionios Cosmorama Travel in Telekom Center Athens to finish GBL Round 9.

And it was an historic game, as Nikos Rogkavopoulos made history from beyond the arc, hitting 12/19 three pointers to guide the 110-66 victory of the home team.

The Greek forward made an all-time Greek league record after surpassing Bane Prelevic (10/14) of PAOK in 1990 and Shane Hill (10/16) of Near East thanks to a career-high 40-point performance with 1/2 two-pointers, 12/19 three-pointers and 2/3 free throws, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals and 3 turnovers in 31:55. This is also a Panathinaikos record, as no Green player had scored 12 triples in a game.

Panathinaikos returned to winning ways after losing to Valencia (79-89) at OAKA for the 14th round of the Euroleague and climbed to 7-1 in the GBL against 1-8 (0-5 away) of the last-place Panionios.
