Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos delivered a strong message of support to the entire team ahead of the Greek Cup Final 8, calling for unity and a response after the recent setback.
The Greens are looking to regroup following their shock home loss to Kolossos Rhodes in the Greek league, as they prepare to chase the 22nd Greek Cup title in club history at the tournament in Heraklion, Crete.
Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, the day the competition begins at the “Dyo Aorakia” arena, Giannakopoulos posted a series of Instagram stories featuring photos of all players and head coach Ergin Ataman.
He concluded the posts with a motivational message aimed at sparking a turnaround and a title push.
