Olympiacos Piraeus managed to tie the Greek League final series 2-2 against Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens with a Game 4 win at home.

The ‘Greens’ however protested with an announcement on the team’s official site for the game referees and the TV commentator, claiming they were in favor of Olympiacos. The announcement states:

“We believe that Olympiacos should not have any complaints about Mr. Koromilas (referee). He had the support of Olympiacos’ owners either way. As for Vassilis Skountis (commentator), with such celebrations on air, he deservedly won a spot on Olympiacos’ cheerleaders for the next year. After all, he can only attend the Peace and Friendship arena after today.

Interestingly, the decision of the sports court on what happened before the game is also of interest. Only three wounded police officers (one with a fractured hand), a burned-out van and body-fights.”

Panathinaikos hosts Olympiacos on Sunday for a do-or-die Game 5 that will decide the champion.
