Behind 28 points by Gabe York and 23 by Dusan Sakota who combined for 14 made threes, AEK got the 79-71 road win against Peristeri and tied the series at 1-1.

AEK proved that they can bounce back and end the season on a high note with coach Luca Banchi admitting: “It’s true that recently we haven’t been good, but we can’t forget that we finished on top of the regular season and we had also the burden of missing the BCL Final Four and the injury of Jonas Maciulis. I don’t intend and never was to blame our failures to one injury, but we had a bit of bastard luck”.
