Vince Hunter scored 18 points including the game-winning free throw with 11 seconds remaining as AEK Athens beat Peristeri 83 – 82 on the road in Game 4 of the Greek League third-place series to win 3-1.

Peristeri had a chance to tie the series but Jordan Callahan’s game-winning 3-point attempt went off target. Despite the result, it was a successful season for Peristeri that made the semifinals for the first time in 16 years. The club had returned to the First Division after spending the previous five seasons in minor leagues.

Panagiotis Vasilopoulos finished with 18 points for Peristeri. Gabe York scored a game-high 19 for AEK.

Both AEK and Peristeri will compete in the 2019-2020 Basketball Champions League.
