Kevin Punter’s move to Partizan this offseason marked the biggest contract signed in Serbian basketball history and now the guard is ready to take on the challenges of the new season under coach Zeljko Obradovic.

Eurohoops caught up with Punter during the third edition of the “Pavlos Giannakopoulos Tournament” and he opened up about reaching a deal with the Serbian club, as well as what it is like working with Obradovic.

“A lot happened this summer. Long story short, the bottom line is that I signed with the team and Zoc, I’m so happy to be here and I’m excited for that”, Punter tells Eurohoops. “[Zoc is] a leader. A winner. He wants to always be better and I also want to always be better, that’s how I see it.”

Punter further talked about the upcoming season, and what to expect from him in his new role, coming from a stellar campaign with Olimpia Milano in which he posted 14.3 points per contest.

“You should expect what I have been doing for the last couple of years. Being able to produce and be myself”.
