The law of the home court decided the outcome in the semifinal series between Khimki and Lokomotiv Kuban. After four games and two breaks, Khimki got the 92-77 home win and qualified to the VTB finals.
After a close first half in which Khimki had just a one point lead (42-41), the hosts finished the game strong, getting a 71-56 lead at the end of the third quarter. That was the end of the season for “Loko”. while Khimki will fight for the VTB title against CSKA Moscow.
