The hosts survived the guests late surge and got the win with a 86-82 on the scoreboard.
Jahmius Ramsey, who erupted for 26 points, was the top scorer of the game.
Milano, despite entering as the clear favorite, struggled to impose its rhythm defensively and often found itself chasing the pace set by Trieste. Armoni Brooks contributed with and Shavon Shields added 18 points, but wasn’t enough.
But every time Milano threatened to close the gap, Trieste responded—often through Ramsey’s individual brilliance or timely contributions from the supporting cast. In the final minutes, Trieste maintained composure, capitalized on Milano’s missed opportunities, and sealed a victory that resonated far beyond the scoreboard.
Even though Milano got a 78-76 lead after trailing for almost the whole game, the home team bounced back and grabbed the win that puts it with a 5-4 record, like Olimpia Milano.
