Virtus reacts in the final minutes to grab the away win

Thrilling win for Virtus Bologna in Trieste. Ivanovic’s team reacted in the final minutes to get the victory (66-74). They’re now 10-2 in the domestic competition.

Matt Morgan was Virtus’s top scorer (19), improving in the second half. Derrick Alston added 16. Carsen Edwards (sprained ankle) and Alen Smailagic did not play.

Virtus couldn’t find its way in the first half (39-44), with the local team fighting back before the break.

Morgan led Bologna’s squad in a thrilling end to secure the win on the road (66-74) and stay on top of the national league next to Brescia.
