The 72-year-old Svetislav Pesic received the appropriate therapy throughout the past week and has been discharged from the hospital, feeling well.

The recently appointed Serbian national team coach was admitted to the Clinical Centre of Serbia with an acute sore throat.

“In any case, I am better than when I went to the hospital, we reacted on time… I thank, first of all, Professor Dr. Vladimir Djordjevic, who received me very cordially to the intervention of Professor Dr. Dragan Radovanovic. After two days, I was already feeling well, but I had to stay in the hospital for six or seven days and follow the protocol about receiving therapy. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire staff, which was not only professional but also very cordial,” Pesic said.

The health issue forced the cancellation of the two-day training camp for selected Serbian players competing in the AdmiralBet ABA League
