After Justin Cobbs who’s been playing for a while for the Montenegro national team, another American player is a candidate to get the country’s passport. According to Mozzart Sport, Kendrick Perry could soon get it.

Both players wear the jersey of Buducnost VOLI at the moment and Perry will also play for the Montenegrin national team. However, only one of them can pay at a time due to the rules that allow only one naturalized player on the game roster.

Perry joined Buducnost near the end of January 2022, after a stint with Panathinaikos OPAP. He’s been averaging 10.9 points, 3.7 assists, and 2.4 rebounds in seven EuroCup games with Buducnost.

Prior to PAO and Buducnost, Perry played for Cedevita Olimpija, Mega, Levallois, Nizhny Novgorod, Szolnoki, Karpos, Kormend, Iowa Energy and Sidney Kings. He won five trophies throughout his career with multiple teams.
