Goran Dragic returns to the Slovenian NT this summer for the upcoming FIBA World Cup qualifiers window in late June – early July. Dragic, the MVP of the 2017 EuroBasket, is likely headed for the “last dance” with the Slovenian national team.

Featured on Aleksander Sekulic’s roster is also Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, who will also join the team for the games against Croatia and Sweden.

The two recently traveled to Ljubljana for the premiere of the “2017” documentary, dedicated to Slovenia’s first-ever EuroBasket gold.

Sekulic’s 15-man roster also features Jaka Blazic, Vlatko Cancar, Jakob Cebasek, Ziga Dimec, Zoran Dragic, Gregor Glas, Gregor Hrovat, Jurij Macura, Edo Muric, Aleksej Nikolic, Luka Rupnik, Zan Mark Sisko and Mike Tobey.

Slovenia currently ranks second in Group C of the European qualifiers with a 2-2 record and could make it through the second round with a victory against Croatia.

The selection hosts Croatia on June 30 and travels to Stockholm to face Sweden on July 3.
