Jonas Kazlauskas steps down from the Lithuanian NT

After 4 years with the Lithuanian national team, Jonas Kazlauskas decided not to continue since his contract expired, according to reports.

Kazlauskas joined the Lithuanian national team for the Eurobasket of 2013 but was the head coach of his home country in 1997. He has also coached China (both as a head coach and an assistant) and Greece.

In his long career as a national team coach, he has won a bronze in the 2000 summer Olympics, 2 silver medals in Eurobasket 2013 and 2015 and a bronze in 2009 in the same competition.

He has coached Zalgiris, Lietuvos Rytas, Olympiacos, CSKA Moscow and Guangdong Southern Tigers in China.
