Mitoglou can play one more season in the NCAA and that’s his wish, as he said to www.athlenda.com. As the 21 years old forward explained, his wants to chase the NBA dream and that’s why Europe has to wait.

“I am honored by the interest of both Panathinaikos and Olympiacos”, said Mitoglou who explained that leaving the States is not his priority. “I am close to my final decision, which would be to stay at the university and get my degree. I have not come to a final conclusion yet, but I am leaning towards staying in Wake Forest”.

Mitoglou will be part of the Greek national team training camp before the upcoming Eurobasket. While he is not expected to make the team, Mitoglou welcomes the chance to work alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo: “He has become an example and a role model in the US and not only for Greeks. He has already changed many things both in the American and Greek basketball”.

He also added for Tyler Dorsey who is not going to be part of the national team training camp after all: “I was happy for him being selected in the draft, he had an amazing season with Oregon and he deserves all the credit for getting a contract with the Hawks. He worked a lot and that’s what everyone has to do”.
