There was no break on Sunday in Game 1 of the NBA playoffs and British star Luol Deng was a huge part for this, leading the Miami Heat to the easy win over Charlotte (123-91).

Deng finished the game with 31 points and 7 rebounds, Goran Dragic added 9 points and 10 rebounds, while Nicolas Batum did his best for the guests with 24 points. The Heat will have to endure in the playoffs without Chris Bosh due to a calf injury and that makes Deng even more valuable.

In Cleveland the Cavs rallied in the second half and got a 106-101 win over the feisty Pistons. LeBron James (22 p., 11 as.) and Kevin Love (28 p., 13 r.) led the charge while Timofey Mozgov added 1 blocks.

As expected in San Antonio, the Spurs toyed with injury-riddled Memphis (106-74). Tony Parker had 15 points and 6 assists for the winners, Boris Diaw added 4 points and 5 assists, while Boban Marjanovic had 6 points.

Finally, in Los Angeles the Clippers had an easy task against the Blazers (115-95) with Chris Paul (28 p., 11 as.) prevailing in the duel with Damian Lillard (21 p., 8 as.)
