The name of Ettore Messina is mentioned once again as a possible head coach, this time for Memphis. According to Adrian Wojnarowski the Italian coach is also part of the Grizzlies‘ candidates list.
While former Indiana coach Frank Vogel is also a name which more than interests the team, “the franchise’s working list of coaches includes former Phoenix Suns coach Jeff Hornacek, San Antonio assistant Ettore Messina, Charlotte Hornets associate head coach Patrick Ewing, Portland assistant Nate Tibbets and Miami Heat assistant David Fizdale”.
Messina is also linked with the Kings, where former Memphis coach Dave Joerger is the favorite to get the job and his name was also mentioned as a possibility for the Lakers, before the hiring of Luke Walton.
