Barcelona forward Rodions Kurucs officially declared for the NBA Draft, his agent announced on Twitter.
Kurucs, 20, had also declared for the Draft last year but despite the fact that he was projected as a first-round pick, he decided to withdraw his participation.
The plan for the Latvian player was to possibly see more playing time on the senior roster of Barcelona this season but that didn’t happen. Kurucs played in just four EuroLeague games and so far has registered five Spanish League appearances.
Kurucs is currently projected as an early second-round pick by Sports Illustrated’s Mock Draft.
