Danilo Gallinari was one of these people that already knew what Luka Doncic could do prior to the NBA, even though the two never came across in Europe. And as expected, to him it’s no news that the Slovenian is leaving a mark in his rookie season.
“I wasn’t surprised. Watching him playing in Europe, the things he was doing were already amazing”, he tells us.
As for Doncic’s quote on how it’s easier to score in the NBA rather than in Europe, Gallinari has his own point of view.
“It’s a different game. The rules are different. [In Europe] You play for 40 minutes instead of 48. I think that the rules make the game different. To me, it’s easy to score all over the world”, he adds with a chuckle.
