Thanasis Antetokounmpo is finalizing a two-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Eurohoops sources.

Milwaukee’s roster will feature two pairs of brothers next season – Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo as well as Brook and Robin Lopez.

Thanasis’ contract will be guaranteed and it’s expected to pay him a total of $3 million.

The 26-year-old played in Greece with Panathinaikos past two years and although the club wanted to keep him, there was too big of a financial gap between them.

In this past season, Antetokounmpo posted 4.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in 12 minutes per EuroLeague contest with the Greens.

Thanasis was the 51 pick of the 2014 draft by the Knicks, after spending a season in the G-League with the Delaware 87ers. After two seasons with the Knicks and their G-League team, the Westchester Knicks, he returned to Europe in 2016. He was named to the 2015 NBA D-League All-Defensive second team.
