According to the Vertical, Metta World Peace has reached agreement on a deal to re-sign with the Los Angeles Lakers and free-agent forward Thomas Robinson has agreed to a one-year deal with same team.
Robinson, 25, has been working out daily for the Lakers and plans to sign Thursday. The Lakers have 14 guaranteed salaries – with Yi Jianlian on a strong partial guarantee – giving Robinson an opportunity to make the regular-season roster.
World Peace, 36, has been working out daily with the Lakers, and the two sides finalized a contract for training camp on Wednesday.
