Lithuanian forward/center Donatas Motiejunas is New Orleans bound.

Lithuanian forward/center Donatas Motiejunas has agreed to a one-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans, as reported by The Vertical.

The two sides have been having “positive talks” on Sunday which are now bearing fruits with the deal that brings the 26-year-old player to New Orleans.

According to The Vertical, Motiejunas planned visits with the Washington Wizards and the Boston Celtics before shaking hands with his new team. He had also visited the L.A. Lakers and the Minesotta Timberwolves.

Motiejunas averaged 6.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.1. assists in the 2015-2016 season with the Houston Rockets.
