USA’s new arrivals Devin Booker, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday are expected to be available to play in the team’s Olympic Games opener against France Sunday, just few days after their appearance in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Per ESPN, the three players are planned to land in Japan by Saturday and immediately join their national team in the basketball tournament premiere.

USA coach Gregg Popovich said that the will likely get minutes vs. France, probably early in the game. “I have no idea [how to use them]. I’m not trying to be glib. I’m trying to be transparent. Maybe they’ll be OK for the game [Sunday] and it’ll hit them two days later. Maybe we should play them in the first half and see what they’re like.”

The rest of USA players that were already in Tokyo paraded in the Olympics’ opening ceremony Friday. Team USA also sang an early  ‘Happy Birthday’ to Kevin Durant . His birthday is on September 29.
