Maccabi Tel Aviv improved to 18-1 at the top of the Israeli League standings with a 75-64 home win over Maccabi Rishon which now stands at the third spot with a 12-7 record.
It was a one-possession game (66-64) with five minutes left but Maccabi Tel Aviv took over scoring the last nine points of the game and emerging victorious.
Tyler Dorsey led the way with 19 points while Othello Hunter helped with 16 points and nine rebounds. Deni Avdija added 12 points.
On the other side, James Kelly scored 18 in addition to Alex Hamilton and Oz Blayzer’s 11 points each.
