LKL Day 11 Recap

Following a couple of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague defeats, Zalgiris Kaunas completes a challenging week jumping to 8-1 at the domestic level. Lietkabelis and Rytas Vilnius follow in the LKL standings up 5-2 and 7-3, respectively.

CBet – Pieno zvaigzdes 96-99

A high-scoring clash which belonged to Pieno in the end and it was thanks to Tomas Lekūnas and Edgaras Želionis who scored 22 and 20 respectively while Branko Mirkovic added 17 points.

For CBet, Marquis Wright banked in 25 points followed by Mindaugas Sušinskas with 17 and Tom Digbeu with 15 points.

Siauliai – Nevezis 87-85

A couple of late free throws made by Gediminas Orelik made all the difference. The 30-year-old forward logged 15 points, while teammate Elvar Frioriksson finished with 16 points, seven assists, and four rebounds.

For the losing side, Vaidas Kariniauskas paired 28 points with nine assists. Sedrick Barefield put up 22 points.

Zalgiris – Neptunas 81-59

Marius Grigonis made out a game-high 15 points with 6/11 field goals. Lukas Lekavicius was the only other double-digit scorer for Martin Schiller with 11 points.

For the other side, Benas Griciunas scored a team-high 10 points.
