Maccabi Tel Aviv has gone all the way and won the Israeli Cup trophy after successfully and convincingly getting past Maccabi Rishon with 86-69 on the scoreboard.

Scottie Wilbekin, Ante Zizic, and Yovel Zoosman scored 16 points each to lead the way and were the only double-digit scorers for the winning team. Zizic also grabbed eight rebounds, controlling the paint.

On the opposing side, Egor Koulechov scored 18 followed by Akil Mitchell with 17 while Tal Peled scored 11 and Golan Gutt ten points.

Maccabi Rishon put up a fight against the heavily favored opponent but couldn’t hold on. Maccabi made a small run at the end of the first half to gain a six-point advantage (44-38) and carried over that momentum to the rest of the game, going up in double-digits by the end of the third quarter (65-55) and sealing the deal in crunch time with a 10-2 run.
