After parting ways with Real Madrid following seven seasons as a rotation player with the Spanish powerhouse, Jeffery Taylor signs with BC Wolves, in Lithuania.

Taylor won 4 Liga ACB, 4 Copa del Rey, and 1 EuroLeague, among other trophies, with Real Madrid, averaging 4.7 points and 1.8 rebounds per game during his career in the European competition.

Algimantas Bruzas, the Director of Basketball Operations at BC Wolves, talked about the signing. “We are thrilled to sign a player of such caliber. For the last seven years, he has played at the highest level in Europe; therefore, he will add a lot of experience to our team. Jeffery is both an elite guard and a versatile forward”, he said.

“Although Jeffery played only a specific role during the last couple of years, he will get more time on our team, becoming an important player at crucial game moments. He might need some time to adjust, but it does not change the fact that Jeffery is a significant addition to our team and will raise our quality level”, Bruzas added.

BC Wolves, which was founded by former Real Madrid player Rimantas Kaukenas, is currently fourth in the BetSafe LKL behind Zalgiris, Juventus, and Rytas, and didn’t qualify for the 2022-23 FIBA Europe Cup.
