Norris Cole led Maccabi Tel Aviv to the victory

Maccabi Tel Aviv overcame a rather tenacious Bnei Herzliya with an 80 – 61 win at home making their league record 2-0. The Israeli powerhouse didn’t enjoy good advantages in the scoreboard until the last quarter when they scored fluidly (32 points in this period).

Sean Dawson finished with 15 from Bnei Herzliya’s side. His team was leading 16 – 24 after the first quarter but they couldn’t hold the lead.

Norris Cole had 17 points (11 in the second half) and paced Maccabi in their comeback. Deshaun Thomas added 11 points and Jonah Bolden contributed 10. Earlier this week Pierre Jackson scored 27 in Bamberg but he only managed 7 today. He also tried to score on the last possession annoying the guests.
