Hapoel Eilat agreed terms with 31-year old American point guard Derwin Kitchen.
He played last season at Ironi Nahariya. Kitchen managed to play in three leagues last year. In 34 Winner League games he had 8.9 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 5.6 apg and 1.6 spg. He also played 4 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he recorded 12.8 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 5.5 apg and 2.0 spg.
Kitchen helped them to make it to the quarterfinals. And finally he contributed to 11 games in Basketball Champions League where he averaged 3.9 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 5.1 apg.
