Norris Cole scored a game-high 24 points and dished out five assists, as Maccabi Tel Aviv beat Ironi Nes Ziona 96 – 74 in Game 4 of the Israeli Winner League quarterfinals to win the series 3-1.
Maccabi advanced to the Final Four where they will face archrival Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Apart from Cole, Jeremy Pargo had a stunning playmaking night with a career-high 15 assists (for two turnovers) to go along his eight points and five rebounds. Jake Cohen added 18 points.
In a manner similar to the Game 3 win, Maccabi turned on its engines after the first 20 minutes. Nes Ziona was up 43 – 40 at halftime but allowed 30 points in the third period. The “Yellows” reached the fourth quarter ahead 70 – 61 and never looked back.
Talbi Zanna had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds for Nes Ziona while Khalif Wyatt scored 14 points.
