Shabazz Muhammad is signing with Shanxi Brave Dragons

Shabazz Muhammad is signing a one-year deal with Chinese League club Shanxi Brave Dragons according to Eurohoops sources. The American wing was waived by the Milwaukee Bucks Thursday (October 11) after appearing in two preseason games with the team.

Muhammad, 25, had been selected with the 14th overall pick in the 2013 Draft by the Utah Jazz. The Minnesota Timberwolves acquires his rights the same night and Muhammad spent the following five seasons with them. On March 2018 the Timberwolves released the player who signed with the Bucks.

With the Shanxi Brave Dragons, Muhammad will play overseas for the first time in his career.
